  • Launched Updraft from a blank codebase in ~2 months and remained its primary engineer as it grew to 250,000+ registered users, owning the application, CMS, database, authentication, and deployment architecture.
  • Reworked Updraft's content pipeline after the CMS became a reliability bottleneck, moving course data out of runtime GraphQL requests and into build-time caching. The new setup handled 10,000+ concurrent users while keeping CMS server utilization below 5%.
  • Built Updraft's certification platform in ~3 months, including checkout, KYC, proctoring, exam delivery, grading, and automatic credential issuance. It supported 500+ certifications and generated $40K+ in first-year revenue.
  • Built a custom HLS video player on Media Chrome and Mux that serves ~400,000 video views/month, with persisted playback settings, autoplay, captions, analytics, and custom learning experiences around the player.
  • Built Cygent from scratch as its primary engineer. Each customer ran in an isolated environment with its own Postgres database, Redis instance, and agent containers, with provisioning, deployments, and stateful host migration handled automatically.

  • Added the DAS API to Helius's TypeScript SDK, implementing the new API surface and contributing the documentation and examples developers needed to use it.
  • Built Test Drive in ~2 weeks, a Svelte/tRPC tool for benchmarking RPC providers on latency and correctness. It was also used by sales and marketing when comparing Helius against other providers.
  • Led a four-person DevRel team while staying hands-on with engineering work, reviewing code, planning technical work, and helping unblock contributors.
